Install the VNC software

  1. Click the following link: http://www.apluscomputer.com/support/files/vnc.exe
  2. Click Open or Run to execute this file right from the web.
  3. Click Next to the Welcome screen.
  4. Click “I Accept the agreement”
  5. Click Next to continue.
  6. Click Next to accept the destination directory.
  7. Click Next for a full installation.
  8. Click Next to create the new Start Menu folder.
  9. Uncheck “Register and configure VNC Server for Service-Mode”
  10. Uncheck “Start the VNC Server in Service-Mode”
  11. Click Next to continue.
  12. Click Install to begin the install.
  13. Click Next to the information screen.
  14. Click Finish to exit the installer.

Permit A+ control of your PC

  1. Click Start
  2. Click Programs
  3. Click RealVNC
  4. Click “VNC Server 4 (User-Mode)”
  5. Click “Run VNC Server”
  6. Click “Unblock” if prompted
  7. Type any password in the Password field; you do not need to remember it.
  8. Click OK
  9. Right-click the VNC icon next to the clock.
  10. Click “Add New Client”
  11. Type vnc.apluscomputer.com in the Viewer field.
  12. Click OK
  13. Wait for A+ to take control of your computer.
